Welcome to Word Workshop!
- My name is Leanne McNinch. I graduated from the University of Houston-Victoria in 2002. This is my 8th year in education and my experience ranges from classroom teacher to special programs including Special Education, ESL, and Dyslexia.
- Word Workshop is a Response To Intervention (RTI) program designed to help students who are struggling readers. We study words through phonics instruction, reading/spelling rules, fluency and comprehension.
- Students come for 25 minute groups daily. Students use a variety of research-based, innovative, and hands-on activities to engage them in the learning process.
